Mumbai, 22nd
February 2007:
Mumbai based distributors Bharat Book Bureau have come up
with a latest report on subsea processing systems, titled
Subsea
Processing Gamechanger Report.
The report on subsea processing includes information that
over the period to year 2015, at least $ 3.4 billion is
likely to be spent on subsea processing systems, which has a
tendency to increase to $ 5 billion.
The study examines the potential for subsea processing to
permanently ‘change the game’ of offshore oil and gas
production. The report is aimed at executives and technology
managers and is a comprehensive study about the technology
currently available and under development, gives specific
case studies and includes the results of a survey of leading
offshore operators.
The report gives the facts about the importance of subsea
production and highlights the growth in demand for offshore
oil and gas. It includes information on the requirements for
installation and maintenance of subsea processing, mainly in
great water depths. Also included is information on sixteen
different case studies, which illustrate experience to date
of subsea processing in real life offshore field situations
including examples of planned projects that are due to ahead
over the next five years.
It provides the forecasts for two time periods, (2006-2010
and 2011-2015) and for subsea boosting and separation,
multiphase metering and wetgas compression. An overview of
the pressure boosting technology gives information on
multiphase pumps, compressors and gas lifts. The techniques
for control and monitoring are discussed in detail which
also includes actuators, umbilicals and connectors. Power
supply is a key factor in subsea processing and system
components and technologies are described.
