Country Forecasts present and explain the Economist Intelligence Unit’s five-year macroeconomic projections for 60 of the world’s largest economies. They also provide an in-depth medium-term political and policy outlook, as well as forward-looking assessments of the business environment. 

Country Forecasts give you access to a comprehensive, coherent and integrated set of political, economic and business forecasts, continuously updated and written from the point of view of foreign investors. 

A key feature of the service is a business rankings model, which measures and ranks for 60 countries the quality of the overall business environment. This enables you to make comparisons across countries and over time.

• Long-term outlook—New for 2005, the Country Forecast Main report will also carry a new section on the long-term outlook, including projections of key macroeconomic and market size variables up to 2030. Depending on the indicator, average growth rates in a decade or values at select points in time will be reported.
