    AB: Abstract
    The corrosion behaviour was studied of superduplex steel UNS S 37250 (max.30% C, 25%Cr, 7%Ni, 4%Mo, 0.3%N; thickness 3 mm), on joints welded by both plasma and EB welding methods. Welding conditions are given (filler wire, shielding gas, welding speed, current (arc current; cathode current, beam current), voltage (arc voltage; accelerating voltage)). Free and stress corrosion evaluations of the welds were done in H2SO4 solutions of various concentrations and critical pitting temperatures were determined using FeCl3 solution. Comparisons were made of the results for plasma, EB and laser produced welds, and also of the differing microstructures created.

    Browsable Indexes
    A browsable index is an alphabetical listing of terms used in a specific field of a database. You can browse this list to see, for example, the names of journals indexed in Weldasearch. Browsable Indexes are available for the following fields:

    Author
    Descriptors
    Journal Name
    Publication Type
    Standards, Codes of Practice, etc.
    Theses, Dissertations, etc.

    Publication Type, PT=
    Identifies the general type of document. The publication types are as follows:

    Books and Other Publications
    Conferences
    Journals
    Patents
    Reports

    To search publication type, use the Browsable Index or enter the unique word(s), e.g.:

    pt=journals

    pt=journals and de=(plasma wedding)
