“There is a new India emerging. This shows the new-found respect that India
commands in the global arena”
Kumar Mangalam Birla, Chairman, Aditya Birla Group
from The Economist print edition, Mar 29th 2007
India’s economy
continues to boom, helping to drive the global economy, forging new business
relationships - and generating new opportunities. And with Indian acquisitions of
foreign companies rising rapidly, this vibrant market is no longer just a

Indian companies play an increasingly pivotal role in European economies, as
well as providing the high quality services for which its skilled workforce is
famous.
