View: We have maintained our forecasts for this quarter as there has been little in the way of new developments in the country's water sector. The provision of drinking water remains good, with approximately more than 99% of the population currently linked to the mains water supply networkHowever industrial water pollution, and non-revenue water extraction remain key problems which will need to be addressed, and the small project pipeline leaves little in the way of new opportunities at present for water infrastructure companiesAlthough there is some activity in the project pipeline, new developments will remain limited as investor interest is curtailed by economic uncertainty and limited private participation in the state owned and managed water sector. We believe other regional markets offer greater opportunities to private water management and infrastructure groups, and this will continue to attract investors away from Uruguay.
