Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) is an integrated electric utility company. The company carries out activities related to generation, transmission and distribution of electrical energy. The company focuses energy-centric growth. It intends to expand asset portfolio with investments on assets domestically and internationally. To this end, KEPCO’s wholly owned subsidiary KOSPO accomplished construction of Andong combined cycle power plant (CCPP) in conjunction with Siemens and GS E&C. The new plant constructed has an electrical generation capacity of 417 megawatts (MW) with efficiency level of more than 60%.
